Dreams do come true!!
Today, we got the chance to climb the fire tower! There are plans for it to be moved from the refuge, so we have been determined to climb it before that happens, and we did! The zone archeologist was out at the refuge today taking notes and pictures, so the ladder was set up for her to climb and the Refuge Manager invited us to join in and climb the tower too! It was most excellent!
